Features
What Oxyn does, shown in short videos and described in text, grouped by task.
Explore and query
Explore a database
The catalog is read on demand. An object opens in a view with its data, structure, indexes, constraints, relations and DDL.
Follow the foreign keys
The Relations tab lists a table's foreign keys, both ways. In the assistant's answers, a diagram is drawn only from tables Oxyn has read.
The assistant's answers in this video were written for it, not generated by a model.
Run a query
Each console has its own session and runs the statement under the cursor. Results stream in batches; save the query by name.
Work with results
Work with a result
Find highlights matches and hides no row; the inspector opens full values. Export writes hidden columns too, as CSV, JSON or Arrow IPC.
Chart an agent's result
The rows of an agent's query are shown to you; the model gets only their count. The chart offers only shapes that fit the data.

Find past work
The library keeps your history and saved queries, and says when a draft changed. A retained result reopens and exports without re-running the query.
Guardrails
Guardrails on every write
Environment and read-only mode stay on screen; an agent's write shows its exact SQL first. Production writes need a native confirmation, and agents are refused.

Review before you drop
Drop, Truncate and Rename from the catalog show the exact statement before it runs. On production, you type the object's name to confirm.
Open transactions, crash recovery
Quitting from the app with an open transaction asks to commit, roll back or cancel (SQLite, MySQL, MariaDB). After a crash, tabs and unsaved SQL drafts return offline.
Set up a connection
A new connection is Production until you choose its environment. Its secrets go to the system keychain, and its form can test it.
AI alongside you
An assistant you can check
@ names a catalog object. Row values reach the model only in a sample you approve column by column; each answer lists what Oxyn read.

Privacy, set per connection
Each connection sets what leaves the machine: nothing, metadata (the default) or an approved sample. Oxyn says whether a declared provider's endpoint is local or cloud.
Workspace
The command palette
⌘K opens the command palette, ⌘P opens a loaded object, and ⌘/ lists the keyboard shortcuts.
Production is the default.
Every connection is marked Local, Development, Staging or Production. A write on Production is confirmed in a native system dialog that names the connection; an agent's write there is refused.
Read-only, for real.
Mark a connection read-only and every write is refused, yours included.
Drop, Truncate, Rename: reviewed first.
The exact statement is shown before it runs; on production, you type the object's name.
Open transactions, flagged.
A console says when its session holds an open transaction; quitting from the app or closing a window asks you to commit, roll back or cancel (SQLite, MySQL and MariaDB).
Keyboard first.
⌘K for every action, ⌘P to open an object, ⌘/ for the shortcuts.
Drafts survive a crash.
Tabs and unsaved SQL drafts come back, offline, without re-running a query.
Several windows.Preview
Each with its own consoles and sessions; a console moves to a new window with its result.
One million rows
This grid draws only the rows on screen. Scroll, or jump to any of the million: the page holds a few dozen at a time.
The rows are generated in your browser from their number: nothing is downloaded, and nothing here is a measurement of Oxyn. Its measured figures are on the home page.
