Skip the interface previewOxyn's own interface, in English, on a read-only sample database. Queries run on SQLite in your browser, not through Oxyn's driver; nothing is sent. The assistant on the right of the window is a scripted demo: no model is called, its answers are pre-recorded.
Oxyn in under a minute: exploring a database, running a query, and the guardrails around a write in production.
The assistant's answers in this video were written for it, not generated by a model.

Short videos of Oxyn's capabilities, animated on a rebuilt copy of its interface. The interface stays in English.
An agent's queries go through the same policy as yours: its reads run, its writes wait for your approval, showing the exact SQL and the target connection.
Your provider
Anthropic, any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (OpenAI, Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp), or Claude Code and Codex, already signed in on your machine and launched confined: their file and shell tools removed.
One agent per conversation
SQL writes, fixes and explains queries. Schema explains a structure and spots its inconsistencies. Add your own as Markdown files.
Diagrams and charts
The assistant draws ER diagrams from the tables Oxyn has read, and the result of an agent’s query can switch to a chart when its columns allow it.
No provider required
Without a provider or an external agent, the AI workspace is absent and Oxyn remains a complete client.
What reaches the provider, connection by connection
Local
Nothing leaves the machine. Local model only.
MetadataDefault
DDL, names, types, indexes, cardinalities and execution plans. No row values.
Sampled
The same, plus a sample of rows you approve column by column.
Local semantic rankingPreview
Optional embeddings, computed on your CPU, choose which tables are described to the model. Off by default: the model is downloaded only when you turn it on, and this step sends nothing.
Measured, and dated
Numbers from Oxyn’s dated measurement campaigns, each against its budget. No comparison with other clients: none has been measured.
The packages of every release are published on GitHub.
Automatic updatesPreview
Oxyn downloads a new release in the background and installs it when you quit, for the macOS app (installed, not run from its disk image) and the AppImage. A .deb or .rpm is updated by your package manager.

Signed .dmg with a notarized app, for Apple Silicon · macOS 13 or later
